Rough Idle

Hello,

I have a 2007 and noticed that it idles rough, has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it?

it has 102k km's

I had mine at gm its a 08 they checked for dtc,s none found ,checked for vacuum leaks none found .fuel trims in spec found trottle bore carboned up cleaned throttle bore as per doc #16196989 they just sprayed some carb cleaner in the throttle bore mine has about 3000 miles since and its idling a little rough again some fix its seems its going to be an on going problem hope this helps you

thats great info, thanks. is this something i could do on my own? where is the throttle bore located?

not sure but if you spray carb cleaner in the throttle body with the hose to the air intake off it should clean it i am not sure about any sensors you may hit with the carb cleaner or where not to spray this is the in take so carb cleaner should not damage anything in there

I have a 2007 Uplander and the idle is a little rough .

A buddy GM mechanic that works at a local dealer , said it is due to the Variable timing.
