1999 Camry LE Question. Please help.
I need to replace the Vapor Canister (also known as EVAP Canister/ Charcoal Canister) in my 1999 Camry LE cuz of a P0446 and P0441 Engine error code. Since I'm pretty much determined to buy a new car in a year or 2 I wanna just swap a canister from a junk yard car. It'll save me atleast $200-$300. Now I was wondering if I could swap in a 1998 Camry Vapor Canister in my 99 Camry. Anyone know? Please help.

Yes, the '98 canister will fit the '99. All the hoses should hook up the same.

What I do when I have a question like this is to go to an online dealer's or aftermarket parts supplier's website. Compare the part numbers for each year car. The part number(s) should give you your answer as to whether the parts are identical.

That's what I did initially. I found the same part number for a '98 and '99 on at least two parts supplier websites. They may be wrong, but I don't have any way to verify it or dispute it.
