Focus on F430Gt2 body

As said in some threads (including mine) about the ferrari 430 gt2, it seems to some they have modified the wheel archs to make the body wider, as in st27 model kits.

Today I had the opportunity to visit the 6 hours endurance racing in Misano World Circuit, and had a talk to Af Corse specialist during a pause about this body parts.
They had 2 f430 gt2, done in 2006 and 2007 and the differences in body was too clear.
I was also lucky to find Adrian Neway ex le mans redbull car (exactly the one I build) and AF Corse crew told me the all first cars didnt had at all the body touched, exaclty as I knew.Only latest cars had a modified wheel arch, but unfortunately what I saw and pic is really different from any model on the market...

Pictures can explain better what I am trying to say.
Red F430 is the latest model. white and RB are the ordinary early ones.ONLY these 2 versions of the gt2 were made,so all hybrid models around are wrong.

this is AF corse box today:

note rear wheel arch curve:

white gt2,untouched alu body:

and here the neway's Redbull gt2

standard factory build fenders...

her look at today:

Interesting to see Mr.Neway is present here in Italy for this nice endurance race. His cars are winning again in germany, but now and tonight he is here. race ends at midnight, so in 20 minutes.Tomorrow will return there cause a friend is racing with historicals cars I prefer.

Hope this will definitely clarify the question about gt2 fenders

Rear bumper is different also. Rear arches are different to accommodate bigger rear "meats".

It makes my GT2 conversion so much easier. Good job

Re: Focus on F430Gt2 body

note they also told me the first cars had also different front and rear bumper (much more similar to serie production).
all the cars in pics have now the latest bumpers (front one has a little wing on the corners and rear one is little different near wheel arch).
Of course who has the early cars try to change at least this parts (and the rims)

also rear wing is now straight on neway car, while other older white gt has curved corners one
