blowing ecm bat fuse

i have a 1994 chevrolet lumina euro with a 3.1L engine.
after replacing the fuel pump the car started to blow the ecm bat fuse when i turn the car off. it will start fine and it runs fine until i turn it off.
the car doesnt blow the fuse when i remove the fuel pump relay.
does anyone have any suggestions?
