046 at Dijon today

Hello,

I heard a F1 was seen at Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or at Dijon today.

Re: F1 at Dijon today

Three best candidates are probably #020, #046 or #069 and perhaps 12R.

Hopefully someone snapped some pics in case I am wrong.

Re: 046 at Dijon today

Forgot about #05R - definitely another good possibilty.

Happy to see #046 getting all this use - I just wouldn't want to pay his service charges.

That's pre-supposing the car is actually being driven from A-B. Nothing to say it's not ferried about in a covered trailer and 'dropped off' near the locations it appears at ... it always seems quite 'shiny'.

Not so sure on that - this image was borrowed from the '#046 at Spa' thread. Click to enlarge:

Seems a good candidate to replace the 911 Turbo in this old Porsche advertisement:

I'll yield - as always - to your expertise on all things F1, Erik.

However, I will say - having dismounted from the back of a maniac friend's turbocharged hyperbike after a cross country sprint at speeds approaching 200 mph - it doesn't take too long to get coated in fly road kill or turn your jeans a browner shade than nature intended at those sort of speeds!

At Goodwood he commented to one photographer that he'd done 3,000 miles in the past 3 weeks.

Several F1s haven't done 3,000 miles in their lifetime.

Sounds like 046 is his daily driver. In the U.S., he'd be knee-deep in a Show & Display violation, so it's great he's able to do all that driving. Makes me smile to hear he is really using the car as it was intended!
