2002 Hyundai Sante fe v6 ac wont Come on

Freon levels are good , You can ground the relay works great . Its like when you push the ac button , its not grounding the relay ? Any ideals , Iam thinking the control heads bad . Thanks

You say the freon levels are good - what pressure shows on the manifold gauges? If it's over about 35-45 PSI, the suction pressure switch is probably closed. If the pressure is low (around 20 PSI or less), it could be open.

Our cars are known for developing problems with the A/C fan switch on the control panel after about 8-10 years. The switch also allows the compressor controls to work since you need to turn the fan on to get it to work. A bad fan switch is quite possible.
