Buick Regal Running Rough

Suddenly about a week ago my Buick started running a little rough. When I give it gas it is sort of sputtering so that I think it might stall, although it hasn't stalled yet.

It has been happening since the last time I filled the tank. I filled it at a place I had never been to before. Could it be bad gas? What is meant by bad gas? Should I put in a gas additive, or just burn through this tank and hope it is ok once I fill it up again at a different gas station?

I guess it has fuel injection, so am I correct in thinking there are no spark plugs to be fouled?

About 8 months ago I put in a new fuel filter.

Any advice or info I can get would be great!

Thanks

Re: Buick Regal Running Rough

Welcome to AF!!

Just because it is fuel injected does not mean that it doesn't have spark plugs because it does. There is one for each cylinder. They can be fouled although I believe you may have gotten a large dose of water in your gasoline. Try a bottle of dry gas. You can get it at most auto stores and WalMart. Get the stuff in the red bottle because it works better and see what happens. Even though gasoline contains alcohol a large quantity of water can cause performance issues. If this doesn't help post again and we can try something else.
