Julien has added his own photos of #007 from Villa d'Este to the main page of SCF.

#007 looking beautiful as ever in Gstaad, Switzerland - Sept 13th. Photos by James Wu.

More owners should take inspiration from Simon and get out and drive their F1s.

Re: #007 seen today in Italia

Totally agreed Eric, the cars themselves will only benefit from being driven.

Not surprising that he does drive it given his location though. Must be absolutely perfect driving an F1 through the Alps.

Re: #007 seen today in Italia

Oh my God! I never envied someone so bad. I love the F1 in black. And that interior in white is really nice too.
This guy is living my dream. You just need to tell me that he's married to some hot Playboy Playmate and I'll just shoot myself out of this unfair world.
That video of him speeding is so amazing! The sound of the engine when he reaccelerates after braking because of a slow car is wonderful.
In response to someone that said he could not read the speed, you just have to know that 12 o' clock on the McLaren F1 is 200 mph, so he was a little beyond that.

Re: #007 seen today in Italia

If it's any consolation, by all accounts including my own limited contact with him, Simon is a really great person. He's also worked very hard to become an expert in the field of classic cars with an impeccable reputation across the world. For him the purchase of the F1 was a dream come true as well.

I've got no idea what his wife looks like, but he owns a Lamborghini Miura, 300SL Gullwing and a McLaren F1 - the three of which are some of the sexiest shapes on the road, so he clearly has an eye for the finer things.

His bio is here on his website: http://www.kidston.com/team.php

All his collection is missing is a 250SWB... then he'll have my exact dream garage.

Re: #007 seen today in Italia

Sticking this with last year's pics since that is when it was taken - pretty cool shot with the motion blur.

Re: #007 seen today in Italia

Why the car #007 always has differnt number plates? With the same owner, I mean.

Re: #007 seen today in Italia

In 2010 it got a Z because tax were not paid in Switzerland. The owner paid it after.

Re: #007 seen today in Italia

More pics from last year coming out of the woodwork over at Supercars.net. Ignore the copyright date - he was just a little slow in getting these out there.

Loving that interior shot - this car is like a million dollar tuxedo on wheels now with the white interior. Stunning!
