All i could suggest would be to build up the putty in stages so it doesn't just fall off. Hope it works out for you, keep us updated

Ya I will or else Ill glue on some plastic first then putty it, Ill make a WIP thread so you can see da progress

I think you're in the wrong section for what you want, this is the section for plastic models.

In regards to Dunnes spoiler, I would use some plastic sheet to extend the spoiler first, rather than just using putty, as the slightest knock will break the putty off, so check out your hobby shop for some plastic sheets, most likely they will have some "Evergreen" in stock.
