Timing chain replacement instructions

Is there a sticky here or reference section on exact instructions for replacing the timing chain assy. on my 1997 Hardbody/2.4L? Or another source available? Thanks!

No, AZ site is pure Dumbass. After telling the system EXACTLY what vehicle I need instructions on, it gave me instructions for the 3.3L, 3.5L, and 4.0L V6 engines... none of which apply to my vehicle, a 2.4L inline 4 cyl..

yeah i got the same??i backed the year down to 95-96 dont
no if that would apply to your truck it listed (2) 2.4l a KA &
another.

Go to this site for a factory service manual:

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/

scroll down to hardbody
then go to section EM page 10.

I believe these are the instructions your looking for.

Sorry I have not done a timing chain on this engine. Like the manual says make sure the came does not move once old chain is removed. Other than that I can not help you.
