Re: Modernizing the Porsche 964 Turbo

thanks guys for the comments.

Outpost961: it's a fujimi kit, there's no engine. just try to do custom piping and twin turbine only. really love 935 twin turbo configuration, maybe i'll do just like that.

speedfreak: tamiya 911 gt2 clubsport? really enjoyed building that kit. good luck.

thanks

Yes sir that's the one!!

Could you give any info on how you built the widebody? I think it is sick and I love the style! I wouldn't do it exactly the same of course. Not even sure it will come out anything like yours. lol.

Re: Modernizing the Porsche 964 Turbo

dunno how to tell 'cause i'm also still learning like others.

But as for me b4 doing the mod, i need to picture it in my head how it should look like. the mod should jive or suit with the original body contour. then i'll check the structure whether it is suitable or not(where to cut or glue -feasiblity study )

for body extension/mod, need to think where the frame (using styrene) should be and if possible try not to use too much epoxy putty it'll make ur kit heavy and easy to chip. and sometime putty can shrink.
