Rubbing noise inrear
My wife has a 2001 grand caravan sport 3.3 and it has been making a grinding type of noise. I drove it briefly last night. It sounds like a warped rotor or a pad/caliper hanging up and rubbing. It is only noticeable when breaking. It doesn't have disc brakes in the rear however they are drums. I have not worked with drums much before. Any ideas what to look for or look at? The drums were replaced a couple years ago.

Re: Rubbing noise inrear
Brake drums develop a ridge on the inside edge and my guess is what you are hearing is the inside edge of the brake shoe rubbing against that ridge – it’s more of an annoyance – but to check it out and fix it , you need to remove the drum and sand or grind that ridge down.

Head to YouTube. In the search window type in "caravan drum brakes" and you'll see several videos describing how to work on your drum brakes.
