Re: LM3 in Paris
The odometer photo dates back to the original shots that John Lamm took of the LM for his book, "Velocity: Supercar Revolution" so it is a couple of years old now.
I'm pretty sure that figure shown would be in miles. Remember this is the LM that did the Gumball 3000 back in 1999 and then Frank did quite a bit of driving while he owned it. Ralph hasn't been one to stick it in the corner and rub it with a diaper either so I would bet that number is much higher now. >8^) ER |

Re: LM3 in Paris
OK Erik,
Do you find any proof LM3 has made entirely the first Gumball ? I still never find more than the vid with the Maranello. Phil |

Re: LM3 in Paris
There was something in one of Mclarens own Racing Line magazines that had a piece on LM3 in the Gumball - I'll add it here once I've found it [unless others get there first]

Re: LM3 in Paris
Great job Phil!!!
LM3 originally wore a New York license plate after Ralph acquired it. However, in the photos taken inside Ralph's garage in NYC before going to Paris it did have that same Colorado plate on it. ![]() I suspect it might be far easier and also cheaper for him to register the car there. >8^) ER |
