Continental tires
Continental Cross Contact LX tires just failed inspection after 8 months and 10,000 miles on them. Had Alignment prior to installation(2 weeks prior) and were rotated once during the 10,000 life.
Neither Continental or Jack Williams made good on them because I had no paperwork stating they were rotated. I did the rotation myself so no paperwork. Previous set of tires were General Grabbers and they lasted 15,000. Continental made good on only 2 of them. These tires are wearing on a well kept and maintained vehicle which is driven by my wife who is not an aggressive driver by any means. The worst part is the companies won't back them. No more continental products for me. |

Re: Continental tires
That's pretty horrific wear, on both types of tires. I just replaced my Goodyears at 99k. My wife's Jeep went 100k on Michelin. IMO it pays to buy better quality tires....I would have expected better from Continental.
