Cylinder 3 misfire
2007 honda civic EX 4 cyl 1.8
Check engine and poor acceleration/higher than normal rpms happened at same time, struggled up a hill. Did the test and got cylinder 3 misfire. Changed all 4 spark plugs to be on the safe side, checked after and no more code, but a couple miles later, car's in bad shape again and check engine back on. Checked again and it's the same code--cylinder 3 misfire... Do you think I'll need a new ignition coil, new spark plug wires, or both? Thanks a lot for any help on this. |

Re: Cylinder 3 misfire
Swap the coil pack with one from another cylinder and see if the code follows the coil or stays with #3.
