Re: McLaren F1-GTR "Gulf" LM'96, 1:24 Studio27

I've been out of the modeling game for quite some time (though I hope to have something to show soon) and a lurker for the modeling forum for some time. I arrived at this thread during a hunt for a Studio27 Mclaren F1 GTR kit. I have to say I am simply blown away, not only by the fabrication going on, but by the depth of detail and complexity being achieved here!

Seeing the body dry fit together pushed me into registering so I could compliment your work! But I also have to ask (and I've seen this question pop up already) if duplicates will be available?

You're right. They have a lot of problems like these.

I use those scans only as a reference. I got only once a complete "watertight" STL-file. It was a civil version of the McLaren's seat.

I've got also another three scans to create new parts of a civil interior. But I'm going to get a modification of a dashboard for the GTR version.

There is not so great progress, but I think it will be interesting to know what I did in 2011.
Some works on CAD model.

Also I did a new roof with open intake.

Don't you forget this project?

At the next stage I will install a heat protection. Before this I will show you the current appearance of the beast.
