head, block and tranny
Just wondering if anyone knows a link that I can find out which head will fit on which block and which tranny will fit on which block?
I am going to build a spair engine for my 5 gen, but have not decide which yet.

im sure any b-series will fit together and any d-series will fit together, i dunno about h-series

thanks for the info, but what about mix matching, that's what I am really looking for.
By the way does anyone knows are all the D series VTEC SOHC head are the same or they are different?

yea you can mix any b-series part with another b series engine and the same for d-series you cant mix b with d series parts, well i know you can use b-series throttle bodies on d-series engines but anything else im not really sure i dont think you can use anything else

what are you trying to do? do you want to swap heads or something? to me it sounds like you heard about swapping heads and stuff for power but you have a good engine, theres nothing wrong with your head, now you could get a diff header, intake mani, internals...i dont know what your trying to do but it sounds like a waste of money to me

I just want to know if they are the same (d16y8 heand and d16z6 head), so I can rebuild on the spair head without taking mine out.
I am trying to find the same head and block as mine (d16z6) and fully builld it will all the internals. Does anyone knows if they are the same head? or better yet anyone has a D16Z6 for sell?
