Could I take a 1999 Honda Civic Motor and put it into a 1994 honda prelude?
I am a junior in high school and around here we have these things called senior projects and we learn to do things we don't already know how to do and I chose automobiles and fixing them and this and that. So i am about to buy this 1994 Honda Prelude that has a hole in the engine beautiful car but no good engine... I was planning on taking the engine out of my 99 Honda Civic and putting into the prelude... Is this possible? |

Depend on what engines each vehicle has, Would take some fab work, it is possible. But not worth it in my opinion even if you have a 99si with a b16. It would be better to find another prelude engine and put it in, specifically a h22.

+1^ Even a non-vtec H23A1 would be easier and cheaper than putting in a Civic engine. It has the same HP rating as the B16A2, but quite a bit more torque.
