what type of tranny service, 135kmi?
hi! just recently purchased a used 01 tribute. i don't know the service history, but there are no outstanding recalls according to the nearest dealer(60mi away). i get a shudder shifting into overdrive. worse the colder it is. i've read that the fix is a pcm flash update, and a tranny flush. but i've been told not to flush, just drain and replace. some mechanic told me to try lucas tranny additive. any suggestions? thanks!

I had an '02 Tribute with the same concern, there is a pocedure to flush with 20 Litres of Mercon V trans fliud and recalibrate the PCM. I did both and added the Lucas addiditive.... the shudder was noticable better but still there.
