1999 ram 4x4 2500 tranny cliks

I have a problem with my transmission. When you drive forward, come to a quick complete stop, shift into reverse then the tranny makes a loud clicking sound which starts out fast then gradually slows down. Then when it stops, you can start moving in reverse but not untill it stops can you move. The cliking sounds like the same sound your tranny makes when you try to put it it park when you havent come to a stop yet. I had the tranny out just lately to change out a frame that was bent in an accident. Any one have any ideas.

You all know that this site works well because of the HISTORY.

Don't you think I know it is an old post? OF COURSE I DID

Why do you think I asked if the problem was ever figured out????

You don't have to be rude. This guy hasn't posted since 2005. You really think he is still around?

Do you have an answer to the problem he had? I have been using this site since 2005 also. The history contained within this site makes it very valuable. Not trying to be rude, just tired of people telling me how old the posts are.
