1986 Olds 98 Regency Fuel Pump
I was looking for a place online that i can get step by step directions on how & what i have to remove from the car to replace the fuel pump i can not afford to get a shop to do the work money is tight now days...

in the 86 98 the fuel pump and gas tank are a complete assembly. you'll need to drop the tank - easiest to get a replacement tank with included pump and just replace the tank.

If I were you, I would go down to Autozone and have a look over the Haynes manual. I've never had an associate bother me about doing so. I'd love to buy all the manuals, but at $25 a pop - I'll have to make more money online with Google Sniper 2.0 before that happens.
Basically you'll have to drop the gas tank b/c the fuel pump is inside of it. I recently replaced mine (1986 olds 98 Regency Brougham Elite) and definitely think I made the right choice by just buying a new (salvaged) gas tank with the fuel pump unit already installed.
