This one could be 27R, or possibly 19R also. That's just a layer of primer on the car so don't be fooled into thinking it is yellow paint if you were.

Yes, I knew it's primer, but why would 19R done that thorough restoration at this point? I understand such if the new owner wants the color change. Changing the Lark livery of 19R wouldn't be such a smart choice. And I think those pictures there are in chronological order, so it was done after 22R. Wasn't there also news that the 27R would be turned back to its Parabolica livery? I thought I saw that somewhere some while ago. Or maybe I'm remembering something wrong.

Yes we did hear that on 27R, and it is likely that car, but I heard the same rumblings about #19R. When it left the US it was not in pristine condition, so even if the owner didn't want to remove the LARK livery, they might have wanted the car to get a complete overhaul along with a full respray. I guess we will know if it has the same marks on it the next time it makes an appearance somewhere.

Dates on the photos:

Gulf GTR - Feb 5th, 2010
Mystery car - Mar 23rd, 2010

Re: What F1 #XX is here?!

Very interesting things indeed.
Fantastic to see, these rare racers haven't forgot garages. The new and old owners are keeping their cars good care!

I remember those notes about the condition of the 19R but I thought it was only internal parts (mechanics etc.), but maybe it's then reasonable enough to do a thorough restoration with a respray. And the 22R was seen ready in Silverstone in May, so the mystery car should have been completed maybe around August then I guess. So we'll be eagerly waiting it to make that appearance!
