Tamiya Calsonic Nissan Primera with a twist

I have always admired the supertouring-vehicles from the 90s and this time I am taking on the Tamiya Nissan Primera in the Calsonic livery..

The car in the picture is the one from the 1994 season of the JTCC. But I have choosen to do it in the 95-96-version with another front splitter and a real supertouring-wing at the trunklid.

So far I have only made a mock-up to see the stance of the car and so far it looks really good i think !

But I have also choosen to open the drivers door up to show up the lovely interior !
And for those of you who answered me in the my topic regarding hinges.. I have fixed it and I also came up with a new way to manage it !

Best regards and thanks for watching,

Rickard

Really dificult proyect, more because there is not so much information about this car. I have the same project pendient while I find out more information about this car.
I`m waiting Nissan decide go out some Primera unit at the Nismo Events. Maybe there will be much more photos of the Japanese versions after that.
Or are you going to use pictures from 95 black Nissan version from BTCC?

You might want to consider using Yahoo Japan to search for pics if you haven't already tried? You'd probably have to use a translator but you might be able to get lucky.

Re: Tamiya Calsonic Nissan Primera with a twist

Thanks for the link. I know it, and itīs really usefull at any cases.
Looking for perfection, I miss more Japan pictures for close reproduction of Calsonic, Castrol or other JTCC version, more when there are so many variations from 1995 versions if we compare with the Tamiya Kit.
Looking again in yahoo, there is two interesting links for the Primera Camino JTCC:

Yo need select moving page for more images 1997年型 P11 J ... >>
The same car and more pictures at this other:

Again, you need go to the end page and click over 09/08/09 JTCC・ ... >> link to see more images.
