It's okay - I don't always understand them either.

I thought if you had some kind of firsthand knowledge of this car's present condition - maybe it was resprayed last year or perhaps Ron had crashed another F1 - something of that nature, that it might make it impossible for these to be recent photos. And I also thought you could just be referring to the weather.

Did you know it wasn't taken recently due to the change of the surroundings [ie hotel fronts different now from then, road layout changed, no bus service on that road anymore etc...] or, like Eirk says, seeing as we are now in Winter and the people are wearing summer clothes.....??

The latter.
All I meant was that, although this image may have been posted on the internet for the first time only a day or two ago, the picture itself had to be rather older than that.
In any case, I thought the fact that it was a random shot, yet was taken just around the corner from the old showroom, with Ron behind the wheel, was the interesting part of it.
