00 cav 2.2 rich condition

I posted earlier and it has a code p0300. I pulled spark plugs, ecm fuse, fuel pump relay. When I turn it over it sprays a good amount of fuel out of the cylinders. The plugs are very black and sooty. On the verge of wet. Anyone got any ideas where to go from here?

1) Try cleaning the Massive Air Flow (MAF) sensor, and electrical connector with CRC MAF sensor cleaner.
2) Replace the upstream Oxygen sensor (H02), this is the feed back signal for the ECU for Air/fuel mix.

It doesn't have a MAF. All it seem to have is one of them IAT sensors.

MAF = MAP = sensor signal used by the ECU/PCU for the Air/fuel mix.

Can the map be cleaned? Also I wonder if the tb or intake is dirty maybe causing the fuel pressure regulator to not work properly? I'm not sure what happened or why but the car was driven in deep snow and just all of a sudden started running like poop. I might pull the intake off and try to clean all of the stuff out. Car only has 65000 miles so It's a head scratcher to me. I've tried everthing I know so far. It never threw any map or any other codes. Sorta made me think something mechanical. I'll try cleaning stuff first and if you have any other thoughts let me know.

A bad MAP will have the same symptoms as a bad MAF sensor, and only throw a DTC when hard a fault.

I don't think you can clean a MAP, just replace it.
Just like a bad MAF sensor, just cleaning dosen't rule it out as being Bad.

It never threw a code except p0300. I took the throttle body off and there is a good amount of fuel in the bottom of the manifold. It is acting kinda like it's running on choke. I also noticed the cooling fan running. I have since removed the intake manifold and the injector bottoms don't look too dirty so something is definatly causing it to over fuel. I'm not sure how often pressure regulators or injectors go bad but it doesn't seem like they are leaking down. Just delivering too much fuel. If the map causes this then I will start by replacing that. It also started running better when it was warm and i noticed if i pulled the plug wires off one at a time it also would run a little better. Strange conditions.
