93 GA: Runs, then dies and won't start for 2hrs.

Hello all, have a perplexing issue with a 93 GA in the shop. Been here for a while, we've been going through alot of basic repairs on this car, following normal diagnostics procedures. However, we haven't managed to fix the problem.

This car will run for an indefinite amount of time, runs just fine. But then, suddenly, it will die like someone just turned the key off. No miss, no chug, just dies. Then it won't start for an hour to two hours. You can walk right up to it then, put the key in the ignition, and it starts up just like it should, no problem. Any help? We've replaced vacuum lines, TPOS, CKPOS, CMPOS, others.... Was thinking maybe a coil pack controller module????? I've had those get hot before and do wierd things.

Oh yeah, it's a DOHC motor car... 2.3L Automatic. Thanks for any help I can get!

When the problem occurs, did you visually check for spark at the plugs? Also, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Any applicable mil codes? You have to test when problem is ongoing.
