The best car for my money?

Hello! Im looking for some help with purchasing a new vehicle. I am currently a college student who commutes about 40 miles daily. Ive saved up some money from work and I am looking for a car priced around $2000-$3000. So I guess what I am asking is for the names of some cars that first of all get good gas milage, are good for commmuting, and will be in the best shape for my money. P.S. The smaller the better! Thanks in advance!

Re: The best car for my money?

I'd go onto craigslist and search with your budget, find what in your area, look for all the unbreakable cars, Old civics, accords, etc. An old E30 bimmer could be fun and they're also fairly bulletproof lol. Basically find some cars for sale in your budget and we'll try to help you separate the crap from the good finds lol
