lincoln, valve and coil problems and more

Great car however it is very clear there is a problem with these cars that will over 90% of time cost you abou 3-5 grand more over its lifetime. Coil packets will go, they almost always all need to be replaced when one goes, I tried getting around it, its just more time away from your car if you try. Engine light issue, just stays on even though there is no issue. Coolant/heating issue. Your horn will invariably not work. Your windows during the winter will most likley not go up or down. Your tires range from 175 and up for each tire to replace an average about once every 2 years if you drive 80mph and and dont slow around corners much. This car overall, drives nice, looks pretty. But so don't a lot of hookers, and just like a hooker she cost too much too keep. lincoln owner< 6 years- There should a class action lawsuit on cars that have so many issues consitantly like this

Re: lincoln, valve and coil problems and more

What year is this car?, things go bad on all cars after time, especially the problem you have with the power windows in winter time, sometimes things just get worn and need replacing. What is the biggest issue you are having with the car now so someone could help?

Re: Lincoln, valve and coil problems and more

If your Lincoln LS is a V8 and 2003 to 2005 there is an extended warranty of 10 years/100K miles on the COP, covers gasket, labor, and associated parts, see a dealer. Tires, you get what you pay for. If you get a steady CEL it will throw a code, get it read. My LS is 6 years old + and so far have not experienced your problems except replaced my tires once. The Lincoln LS is a complex performance automobile and requires more maintenance than a Honda, try a BMW or a Audi and see what real maintenance cost is.
