Post 2006 Kia Spectra Sx 2.0l starting problems

I am working on a 2006 Kia Spectra Sx 2.0l engine for some one and when i started to work on the car the engine light was on, so i pulled the codes and got a code for the cam/crank sensor. When i googled the code some one else had the same problem and found out that there timing belt was off by one tooth, so i check the timing on this car and it was off a little so i got the go ahead to change the belt. Once new belt was put on and new plug wires where put on cleared the code but now car wont start.

Some one told this gal and a diff low end shop her cvvt was bad.

What do all of you think it could be. Any help would be great, any advice would be great

Thank you
