On to the question....anyone know where i find cheap police style center caps? I'm willing to just ditch the covers totally....i've been looking on ebay.com under "2000 impala center caps" but I'm only finding the caps for the LS style alloy rims....anyone that can give me a heads up on this would be great....thanks!

Fun driving.....
Dude, i know this post is a bit old, but if your still looking i just came across this on ebay:

Hope this helps.

Re: Police style Center caps?

ya i have a 2000 chevy impala that looks just like an SS i have everything for it you can think of except the engine and more. it looks badass but the problem is its almost winter and i took my rims off (chrome giovani 20''s) and in the winter my idea was to keep the stock rims a chrome look but with the undercover copcar style. i took my hubcaps off i have the heavy duty police rims but without the extra 3 holes drilled so i got the centers was thinking of how i could successfully put them on. I DO NOT have the mounting screws so i dont know how short of ones im looking for.. so ill have to see but i need an idea fast. as far as i know they DO NOT make lug nut covers that arent plastic (like the ones that screw the hubcaps onto the lugs..) so anyone got any suggestions as to where i can get these mounting screws or just what size i should look for? thats all i need to get them to stay on.

Re: Police style Center caps?

Has anyone thought about or used a different model's center caps? What I mean is a 2005 malibu center caps look a lot like police center caps, but you dont have to drill holes; the five lugs screw right on. Also, an old blazer, s10, or astrovan's center caps look pretty cool and are available in chrome as well. My point is, these are all cheaper and more easily available...just a thought. I'm thinking of trying the malibu center caps to achieve the desired look. When it comes down to it, I don't have a police car. So why do I need the actual center caps if other ones will do the job?
