2004 Tahoe, after battery replacement intermittently blows hot from A/C?

It does it while driving and nothing I do get's it back to cold again. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Also, when the A/C is running it's cold.

If you have the auto ac controlling system , this could be the ac computer module. if the manual could be the temperature control motor or the temp door stuck ...

try to disconnect the negative batery terminal for 15min , then reconnect ,see if the computer resets..many have had to do this ..

lastly check air box for debris ...

experiencing similar situation with my wifes 2000 tahoe. battery died with no warning, walmart replaced battery, and car started with engine idoling up and down. engine would idol down to under 500 almost dying, then would surge. with a/c on it was blowing hot air. would start blowing cool air but not cold.the erratic idle and a/c issues would continue until reaching normal operating temp. a/c started working fine and idol issues disappeared. each subsequent starting of the tahoe experienced same conditions. heard it was a brain issue, any advice out there.

Best to start a New Thread with a new problem.
It sounds like they may have spiked you VCM and computers by a improper battery install.

Unplug you neg battery cable and let sit 10 minutes and hook it back up.
Start it up and see if it now works right.

If not start a New thread and some on will help you.

Remember people.
Rule no one.

When changing a battery or jump starting always remove neg battery cabel first and hook it up last.

If not you can spike any of the computers and cause them all hinds of problems.

If stuff not working right or after battery swap or jump srart.
Remove battery cable for a couple of minutes and then hook it back up.
