Challenger Convertible

Finally finished this, I converted the AMT Challenger into a convertible. Not as smooth as possible but I am happy with the results. Wheels are from my AMT Nissan 350Z Tokyo drift. Painted like the SRT8

Thanks,

F.C

With its influence:

And, the next convertible conversion I have started:

Re: Challenger Convertible

You did a nice job on cutting it up, from the pictures it's hard to tell it didnt came as a convertible.

But...

I'm missing the mirrors...
And me personal, I like my wheels to have a bit more tire, but looking at your reference picture, that one has thin tires as well, so you did a good job there as well.

Re: Challenger Convertible

Looks cool, i think it could do with that stripe down the side to break up the silver a bit but otherwise looks nice

The mirrors are missing because I lost one when I was first building it a year ago and couldn't find and from my last builds, so I just used some putty

I was thinking about doing the stripe, but wanted to make my own take on it

Re: Challenger Convertible

Its NOT good. What with body paint??? What with had light??? You must have progress, step by step, but all of your models have bad paint work without visible progress.

look on this:

Re: Challenger Convertible

Nice work, love the colour combo & the design. Your detailing skills are definetly progressing nicely!! Maybe for the next one you could try a black wash to bring out more of the engraved detail. www.italianhorses.net has a good wash tuturial.
Cant wait to see what you do next, esp if you use a spray can or airbrush!!
