I want to know if a 400 crankshaft will fit in a 326 engine?

Re: 400 crankshaft

A 400 Pontiac crank, right? I have to ask because there's a lot of confusion these days about GM engines and what "fits" what... A 400 Chevy will NOT "fit". If the Pontiac, yes it will "fit". They share the same journals and stroke, snout and hub. Due to the weight difference between the smaller and larger bore pistons, re-balance is necessary. Jim
