Seat Discomfort- killing me!!
Has anyone experienced the same issue that I have in first my 04 and now 08 Sienna. The drivers seat becomes really unformatable after sitting in it for a while. I neqw I had an issue wih my 04... When I got the 08 LE- power seat it seemed much better but recently I have noticed a couple pressure points under my legs when I sit. I'm not a small guy 265lbs 6'3" but come on... anyone have any suggestions?
thanks |

Buy a 2001 Ford F150 Super Crew with leather seats!!!!
My wife and I absolutly hate our 2006 Sienna seats. Whenever we go anywhere that is longer than about hour, we drive the Ford Truck. Much Much better comfort. |

have a look underneath the seat. What kinds of springs do you see below the foam? There are ways to reinforce seat springs, so they support your weight more evenly.

Re: Seat Discomfort- killing me!!
You most likey have already tried this.....
A slight seat adjustment can make a big difference.....a bit off......and you may not notice it around town....but on a long trip, it can be a killer. Adjustment a bit high could cause extra pressure at the front of the seat where your legs rest.....lower might reduce the pressure at the front of the seat. Remember, adjust the seat.....THEN adjust the steering wheel to your seat position.....not the seat to the steering wheel position. The other thing that I would advise is to pay attention to your posture. I notice that I tend to slouch down in the seat on long trips, and it I don't pay attention and correct myself, I will be paying dearly.
