2003 Envoy Liftgate Won't Open

The window won't open, either. They act like they're locked, but I've unlocked all the doors and still can't open them. This makes NO sense. Anybody heard of this?

Re: 2003 Envoy Liftgate Won't Open

Well, after some research, I tried using the "emergency" procedure in the manual by accessing the latch through the trim plug. That didn't work, but spraying WD40 through the plug hole got the gate open. I mostly removed the trim and sprayed the hell out of it. I wish I had sprayed the window latch while I had it open, because the window still does not open. I seldom use it, anyway, so I'll either mess with it later or not bother.
