Thumbs up FOTW is the f'in man

Got my GT Wings today....must say the detail is amazing , well done Chris!

Just wondering, should I leave the photoetched parts unpainted when I put it on the model or maybe give it a very diluted blackwash? Either way will work, I'm just indecisive

Its up to you if you want to add a wash, personally i wouldnt bother! Either leave them completely unpainted or paint them satin black to suggest a carbon fiber look like the real one's. This is what i did on my S2000, the upper and lower fastenings are left unpainted though and the bolt detail on the end plates can be carefully sanded to reveal the metal.

BTW, really glad you like them and they arrived safe. Any queries just ask!

:silly2: if it was me i would do just what FOTW did, leave the upper and lower fastenings unpainted and paint the other parts a satin black for the carbon fiber look :silly2:

I'll definately be painting the aerofoils black, as for the side "fins"...I'll see....the mounts will stay unpainted though

They don't come with instructions but if you just take a look at the pics on the website then it's pretty easy to figure out how they go together.
