Help. Snapped the bolt at the trans cooler line.

I was putting in the two oil cooling lines for the trans. I was tightening away. And never felt like it was tight. I pushed another 1/4 turn and snapped the head ! Oh, man, how do I get it out? Maybe a vise grip and unthread it?

Re: Help. Snapped the bolt at the trans cooler line.

Got it. Lots of prayer. I mean it. Was able to get a thin vise grip on it and slowly unscrew it. Still don't know why it snapped? It wasn't overtightened. Unless it bottomed out. I made a stud with a 6mm threaded rod and 2 nuts. I'll get a grade 8 equivalent bolt this week and replace it.
