The 2010 Queensland Model Hobbies Expo (QMHE) was on again this weekend. So I thought I would show you some of the pictures I took:



























Oh, and me infront of my models:



There were plenty of cars, bikes, trucks, and military vehicles at the show. I was very happy wth the turn out of young people and old. This was my first year entering the intermediate section.

In the photos, there is Countach79's Enzo and Vassa's Opel Astra. Other than that, there could be other people from the forum in the photos, but you will have to tell me because I didn't really know

Some really nice cars this year, your van is still in my top 5 cars at the show!

I think the orange gallardo is robrex's?







It's inspired me to start my gallardo, I started yesterday so i might throw up a WIP

It was good to get a Bronze and Silver after only one year of serious modelling. I don't know how big the 993 was, it was just big!

Thankyou to Countach, Robrex and Vassa for being really nice. Vassa, the comment you made about not worrying about what people say about my models, thankyou, you made me want to go home and just model!

No worries Jarryd, our hobby is meant to be fun and enjoyable. Not critical. I'll be there next year even if i dont enter the comp. Happy modelling

Here Here. It was a great show and the busiest I have seen for many years. Hopefully this means things are on the up for our hobby.

I would have liked to stay around for a chat but the award presentation went for so long!! i had to get going

i did meet vassa quickly on the way out, nice bloke

i already have ideas for next year!

I know, It started 45mins late and was boring when they got ot the warhammer I agree, Vassa was very nice

I can't wait to start the Cobra Le Mans Body I bought from the Parts Box. Next year I might enter one model in the intermediate and one in the open class (There were only four models in the intermediate)

I hope to see everyone next-year or sooner
