Porsche,
the rims are the stock Hasegawa styrene pieces painted with Model Master's Metallizer gunmetal. A really nice, deep, flat color with very small pigment. It really is a simple build with no surprises!

Thanks for the kind words,
Bill

I forget which?!?!?

I've got another (the ND car?) if anyone needs one.

I always thought a street car version would be cool... Maybe the Supra 2020... lol

I hope you're wrong...;-)>

but I'll have to recheck the manual. I knew that some teams did this, but thought it really didn't take off until the Le Mans GT1 years...

Thanks for the comments!

Great pics too, my favourite is the backlit photo, really cool effect.
Thanks Phil!

I was looking for a way to show the silhouette AND my many hours of wet sanding and polishing ;-)>

Wow! Fancy! How are you going to incorporate the coming PE? Are you going to just disassemble it? Gorgeous, I love this thing.

Hi Bill,

try some black ink you usually use for a pen. It can be thinned with water to a grey shade and then fits the white panels.

Willimo,
I'm betting the PE set will be mostly external(fasteners, wing end plates, etc) + seat belt and radiator screens. This should allow me to easily incorporate them as the body has yet to be glued to the chassis...you can just make out the masking tape holding everything together...;-)>

Thanks for the comments!

And here I thought that was the, erm, aerodynamic tape raceteams use to cover body panel gabs. I guess that's how much I trust your models!
