96 gmc jimmy fuel???

96 jimmy runs if ya put fuel in throttle body....can here pump run when cycle key?? is the pump bad??loosend fuel line goin to filter turn key on pump runs no fuel comin out the line???

Got gas in tank.
Better add 5 gallon.

If that does not help and pump running good with it jumper-ed with 12 volts to it and good ground.
You fuel pump is shot.
If so always use the Delphi OEM type pump.
May be 25 US $ more and special order but will only hurt one time.
Airtex and after market pumps are junk and can hurt many times .

For checking fuel pressure it is best to use a fuel pressure gauge.
