1996 continental radiator fan removal(passenger side)

I have reomoved the electrical harness and the three bolts that hold the fan motor to the fan shroud, but how do you seperate the fan from the fan motor? The fan motor burnt up and i am hoping it did not burn the fan axle to the fan itself! Can you get the fan motor out without HAVING to remove the radiator?
