2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee heat problem

Daughter's Jeep blower motor will not work I checked the 40 amp fuse under the hood and is good and getting 13volts. What else might make the blower not work. It has dual climate controls and I did the test with the AC./inside-outside control and moved the left heat control clockwise 1 click. I got code 53 Left temp door travel too small and 54 Left temp door travel too large. only codes. I cannot hear the blower motor start or feel any vibration on the
motor housing.

I have the same Jeep and was going to try/swap my resistor pack when she gets to the house tonight.

Also how is the dual climate control removed I was going to swap that also with mine and see if it might be that.

thanks for any replies

Re: 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee heat problem

Update

Daughter showed up. I checked the resistor plug and looks like someone did a mod before with a new plug spliced to the 3 wires and all taped up. All looked good.

1 removed the resistor module and tried in my Jeep and worked ok.
2 I hot wired the blower motor and was hearing a faint click.
3 I removed the blower motor and it was hard to move but then moved ok by hand. I then hot wired it and worked no problem
4 I reached in the blower hold and seems that a blend door was caught on the motor and keeping it from working.
5 Does anyone know what function that door controls? Its the one directly right there when you put your hand in.

While I was out there seems there is a radiator leak. I see no AF from the pump but see wet AF right below the fan in a little catch shroud. She has been putting AF in the past couple of weeks just a little because the overflow detection keeps coming on on the overhead display. I'm betting the radiator is leaking when it really gets hot and will leak.
I checked when she came to the house and the radiator was full. Looks like a new radiator is gonna be put in.

Is it hard to replace the radiator in the 2002 JGC? I did one in a 2000 Chevy Blazer. The Jeep looks like its got 3 oil lines and then the radiator hoses.

Can someone let me know if there any hidden problems I might encounter and how much would one cost from AutoZone or Napa auto parts.

thanks
