what parts do i nesecerally need to chane my timing chain in 99 ford taurus 3.0 dohc.and what timing settings should they be set at.

Head over to the Hammond Library and find that year Chiltons book. If they have it, it will be old enough that they will let you check it out hopefully. If they won't, or you don't have a card, they charge 25 cents for copies. Or you can write it down. I know the Library in Chesterton has the book and does let me check it out because of the age from the reference section. Not something I would want to tell you from my old memory.
