The name "kitefighter" is inspired from my 74 year old father who is from Pakistan where he mispent much of his youth "kite fighting". It's quite a skill and like modelling, needs finese, patience, experience, talent and dedication. More information here:

He's also a keen and knowledgable model collector but of trains, (he has a wonderful model rail layout in his loft and has some fabulous models). He really likes my diecast collection and insists it's not possible to build a kit to a higher and more realistic standard to a modern premium diecast. Your models have proven him wrong...
