Please help! I want mods on my lancer

I have a 2010 Lancer ES. Manuel Trans. Fully stock

I have the money to afford an EVO and thats what I wanted, but the problem is I dont have the credit to finance one. So I purchased the ES, I love the lancer, the problem is, it needs more power and some flare. I want it to be faster and look better. I have the money to put into it, however I do not know much about cars. ANY suggestions would be much appreciated!!

Normally I would say the same as RahX, but given that you've already bought it that means you're stuck with it. I've seen older base model Lancers fixed up with Evo bumpers & skirts etc & they look quite reasonable, but I'm not sure on the matching for the 2008+ models. That would help the looks, but I think spending any money on the actual performance would be just pouring your ca$h into a proverbial hole. You'll just make your insurance more exp. & any performance gains will be minimal short of putting a new engine in it.

Why didn't you buy at least the GTS model btw?
