240sx 0-60

My s13 coupe KA24DE NA does 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds. I was just wondering how fast the rest of you can go, (NA or Turbo). Plus how fast do you think you can get one to go without a turbo?

you did htis with a g-tech meter? the last time i tested my car like that, i had bad tires, i didn't have my crank pulley then, and i had my a/c on and i did 0-60 in 7.9secs. if i'm lucky maybe i can get it to do like 7.2
but 6.5? thats pretty damn fast.

I used a stopwatch, which I know sounds pretty unreliable, but I did about five runs on a flat surface. Each time I came up with times between 6.4 and 6.7. I had my girlfriend time it from the passengers seat, (she was really light, so it didn't add much weight). I made sure she started as soon as I touched the pedal and stopped it when I hit 60. I was pretty satisfied with my results.

I'm from St. Peters. What part are you from ImportNut1212? If you ever see a clean s13 white coupe with clear lenses in the front, dual 3inch exhaust and the Silvia K's emblems on the side that would be me.
I don't believe there are many if any like mine in the area.

Yeah, I saw your car sitting in thier shop, I was up there about a month ago looking into getting a Greddy Turbo or a SR swap done. You have a nice car. How much is the swap costing you? I was thinking about getting it done too until I found out Greddy was coming out with a turbo.

lol, funny story, actually, thats not my car, its another person with an identical red 95 240sx se. his body/interior condition is alot worse than mine. i still have my car with me. i'm getting an s14 sr20det swap, greddy fmic, bov, exhaust, fuel and boost computer, downpipe, intake, gauges, and a flexilite fan. installation is costing me around 1300. the wiring harness is out now getting serviced.
