Which ones???

Which AAL's are you refering to? Mosi had on Rancho AAL's and the lift was quite incredible! At least two inches higher than our stock Xterras!

Read his post again. He's trying to ditch his load leaves because he just put on the AAL's.

I think he's just curious which AALs he got, not confused about what he's trying to get rid of...

Ah, maybe I read it wrong ... He got the same AAL that we all have, the Ranchos. Sorry if I misread that post.

Mine raised it up closer to 3". I and anyone else who has seen my truck am thoroughly imppressed with them.

I compared it to a SLR shackle lift a friend has and it's a good 1"+ more lift back there.

No way I am putting on the SLR shackles any time soon, unless I want to plow my driveway with my hood.

I'll be curious to see how much/if your leaves settle. Unfortunately since adding the add-a-leafs I've lost about 1.5" in the back ([edit]--lost 1.5" from the original height the springs settled to w/ the add-a-leafs in, they still added a good inch in the back.)

I'm not sure if anyone else is having the same settling problems, I know Will has the same setup I do (trashed stock springs, shackles and add-a-leafs), not sure how much his may have sagged.

Maybe I need to call Alcan back and hurry up w/ those springpacks...

Just added my Rancho AALs, I got a good 3 inches also

If I loose too much of the lift after time I think I'll add a second set of AALs, should fit. I don't want to go with shackles.

just my 0.02

Matt,

If you get a chance and it's not too much to ask, could you measure the space you have between your axle and your bumpstops? Also, were your springs flat before you added the AAL's?

I have flat springs and 2" shackles and have about 3-1/2 inches between my axle and bumpstops with my KMA and everything on. I'm hoping that the AAL's and stock shackles will put me at about 4-1/2 - 5 inches when all settled in.

Thanks!

ChuckH -

I know our rear weights are going to be differnt, but I have 4 5/8" between my bumpstop and my axle. This is with the spare in the cargo area and my usuall load for wheeling & camping minus the cooler. All Tools& camping gear.

I've got 12K miles and the rear suspension was stock before the AALs.

Thanks Goliath! My springs are pretty flat so I don't know how that will affect things, but I guess I'll find out soon enough. I have the 2" shackles so I can keep them if I still need to, I'm just trying to save some work if I can. Thanks again!
