Least time taken to finish a model/ longest time taken...

If you guys have noticed, I just post new threads for the heck of it, sue me, I'm bored.

New discussion to throw around, whatt the longest it's taken you to complete a model? What about the shortest time to complete a model?

Longest Time: my Skyline... almost 7 months... actually i worked on it for half a month then sat the car for like 6 months and then picked it up again...

Shortest Time: 3 Hours. My first model, got it as a present for my 8 or 9 yrs old bday. It was a Tamiya Renault William kit, what a freaking waste now when I think of it. No model glue, no paint no nothing. I used regular glue, and scissors. I was mad when I found out those stickers wouldn't stick on... (Didn't know you have to dip in water)

Longerst time I took on a model was about 10 months at around 3 hours a day building. It was a 1/96 scale Cutty Sark clipper ship. The rigging took most of the time, damn near went crosseyed doing all that!
I won first place for it at a local IPMS show and promply snaped the from mast clean off tring to get it back in the car after the competion!

Shortest turn around for me is about 2 weeks. I know that I could do it faster but the quilty would suffer.

Talking

I hardley ever actually finish a model... did a Ranger Splash from AMT in three days once. The on-going saga of my two XJR-9 Jags continues, I started them in about '92, and they are still 'in progress'!
