01 jgc laredo taillight question

i am looking to get new taillights but the ones i want say they will fit grand cherokee but NOT laredo.
is there a difference with limited and laredo?????
i asked the part store and they said the 2001 has two different lights depending on what month the jeep was made????????????
can someone give me some correct info??

This wouldn't be the first time that a manufacturer changes things 1/2 way through the model year. I'd take one of your taillights in when you get the new ones to make sure they match up. That makes it a no brainer.
