1995 Nissan Maxima Won't Start
I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima. I installed the Prestige Alarm System. The car and alarm works great. One day my engine blew so I bought a new one and had a guy install it. When he attached everything in its place, the car refused to start. He says it has to be the alarm because when he attached the cord with the alarm installed on it to the battery, it goes off but the engine will not turn over. My brother mention a kill switch but I could not find one nor the mechanic. There is a small black button that is a part of the alarm. What is that and what should I do in this situation?

Test starter & starter solenoid by adding direct +12V bypass wire to the starter solenoid. Does it crank? - If not, solenoid or/and starter is dead. - If it does, then start circuit wont get juice (points to alarm and/or inhibit relay) See page 5 linky below for starter circuit

Re: 1995 Nissan Maxima Won't Start
Yes, the starter was one of the problems. I bought a new one and it still will not turnover. My brother and another mechanic that has knowledge with the Maximas said it could be the fuel pump or maybe a missing wire for the crankshift, I believe he said.

Does it? (If your "mechs" cannot test/try this, find a nonmech who can)
